About this Club

Welcome to our Swimming Club. Swimming is an excellent way to stay active and healthy, and it’s also a lot of fun! Our swimming program focuses on developing your child’s swimming skills and improving their overall fitness. Our certified instructors are trained to ensure that your child is safe and comfortable in the water.

What I will learn?

  • Water Safety: Knowing how to stay safe around water and prevent accidents.
  • Pool Rules: Guidelines for safe and respectful behavior in and around the pool.

  • Buoyancy: The body's natural ability to float, supported by water.
  • Kicks: Leg movements used for balance and propulsion in swimming.
  • Floating: Staying on the water’s surface in a relaxed, stable position.
  • Breath Control: Managing breathing rhythm above and below water.
  • Forward Movements: Using strokes and kicks to move efficiently through the water.

Summary Water Safety: Water safety means being aware of risks around water and knowing how to stay safe. Always swim with supervision, know your limits, and learn basic rescue skills.

KICKS,FLOATING AND WATER BUOYANCE
Summary Kicks are the leg movements swimmers use to move forward and stay balanced in water. The main types include flutter kick, dolphin kick, breaststroke kick, and scissor kick. They are important because they help swimmers move faster, keep good body position, and stay afloat. Floating is the ability to stay on top of the water without sinking. Common types are front float, back float, mushroom float, and star float. Floating is important for resting, staying safe, and building confidence in water. Water buoyancy is the natural upward force that makes things float. It can be positive (you float), neutral (you stay in one place), or negative (you sink). Buoyancy helps swimmers stay balanced, float easily, and use less energy when swimming. Together, kicks, floating, and buoyancy are the foundation of swimming — they help swimmers stay safe, move efficiently, and feel comfortable in water.

BREATH CONTROL,FORWARD MOVEMENTS AND GLIDING
Breath Control, Gliding, and Forward Movement Breath control involves managing your breathing while swimming—holding your breath underwater and exhaling smoothly. Gliding is the smooth, streamlined movement through water after pushing off, helping save energy. Forward movement combines kicks, arm strokes, and body position to move efficiently through the water. These skills are key to strong and confident swimming.

INTRODUCTION TO STROKES(FREE STYLE)
Freestyle: is the fastest and most common swimming stroke. It involves alternating arm strokes, flutter kicks, and side breathing. Swimmers stay flat in the water and use smooth, continuous movements for speed and efficiency.

INTRODUCTION TO BREASTSTROKE
Summary Breaststroke is a swimming stroke where the arms move in a circular motion and the legs perform a frog-like kick. The head comes up for a breath during each arm pull, and the body stays mostly flat, gliding forward after each stroke. Importance: It is easy to learn, energy-efficient, and keeps the head above water often, making it great for beginners and long-distance swimming.
